Municipal League Baseball has been part of Harlan, Tennessee since 1961. What began as a few businesses sponsoring pickup teams on a borrowed field behind the fairgrounds has grown into eight clubs, four fields, and a Friday-night tradition that brings the whole town out.

Every team is sponsored by a local business. The name on the jersey is the name on the storefront down the street. Harris Hardware has fielded a team for thirty-one consecutive seasons. The Millers have been in Electric since before most of the current roster were born. Families have followed standings for two and three generations.

Grounds crews are volunteers. League officials are elected. The all-star break in July shuts down half the town for a weekend. The scoreboard at Field 01 was hand-built by a retired machinist in 1978 and has been maintained by his son every season since. This interface is a digital translation of that board — built to match its mechanical precision and its civic weight.
