Northline Waterworks draws untreated source water from the protected upper reaches of the Sullivan River Watershed. This regional basin is fed by mountain snowmelt and monitored continuous riparian buffers to preserve baseline purity before entering municipal intake channels.

Understanding Water Treatment

Water undergoes a multi-barrier purification process combining rapid coagulation, gravity sedimentation, dual-media anthracite filtration, and multi-point disinfection. Every drop meets or exceeds all National Primary Drinking Water Standards before leaving our clearwell reservoirs.

What To Do During Grid Maintenance

Scheduled maintenance on local booster stations or transmission pipes may occasionally cause minor temporary fluctuations in pressure or harmless mineral discoloration. If you notice sediment after work in your area, simply run your cold water tap for 2–3 minutes until clear.
